Guavaween Family FunFest Activities and Schedule of Events

    Day long family entertainment on multiple stages throughout the Ybor City Historic District!

  • Lowe’s Build and Grow - FREE Kids’ Clinic (while supplies last)**
  • Live Entertainment and Performances on THREE stages
  • Pumpkin Decorating located at Kilpatrick Produce
  • FREE “Create A Mask Workshop” hosted by Hillsborough County Magnet Schools***
  • Safe Trick or Treat throughout Historic Ybor City (11am-1pm)
  • Hands-on Activities
  • Bike and Pedestrian Safety Education led by St Joseph’s Children’s Hospital
  • Exhibits and Demos by Tampa Bay’s Best Area Attractions
  • Spooky Story Time presented by The St Petersburg Times (1pm-1:30pm)
  • Children’s Costume Parade and Contest (3:30pm)

  • 9am-4pm - Continuous free entertainment on the Mix 100.7 Stage (Centennial Park, 8th Ave. between 18th & 19th Sts.)

  • 9am-1pm - Pumpkin Decorating in Centennial Park (while supplies last)

  • 10:30am-3:30pm - Continuous free entertainment on the Galley Stage at Gaspar’s Grotto (southeast corner of 7th Ave. & 18th St.)

  • 11am-1pm - Mix 100.7 'Safe Trick-or-Treat' throughout Ybor City (Pick up your bag and directions at the Mix 100.7 booth in Centennial Park)

  • 1pm-1:30pm - Spooky Story Time in the Gaspar’s Grotto Courtyard (7th Ave. between 18th & 19th Sts.)

  • 3:30pm - Children's Costume Parade and Contest at the Mix 100.7 Stage in Centennial Park

** Almost every month, Lowes offers a couple of free Build and Grow clinics for children to help them learn project skills, and build something to take home. This is a great things to do in Tampa with your kids. From project basics to giving your child the opportunity to say “I built it,” the free Lowes Build and Grow kid’s clinics are a great way to help build confidence. Bring the kids to this year’s Guavaween Family FunFest and build a FREE wooden bird feeder. Each participant also receives a free apron, goggles, a project themed patch and a merit certification upon completion of their project.

*** The Hillsborough County Public Schools Magnet Programs are hosting activities and entertainment at this year’s Guavaween Family FunFest. The 14-table Magnet booth will be hosted by staff and students from magnet elementary, middle, and high schools and will feature a free Mask Making Workshop and student entertainment. In addition to mask making, kids can to participate in hands-on activities and games. Be sure to stop by for tons of fun and safe trick-or-treating.
