** Almost every month, Lowes
offers a couple of free Build and Grow clinics
for children to help them learn
project skills, and build something to take
home. This is a great things to do in
Tampa with your kids. From
project basics to giving your child the
opportunity to say “I built it,” the free
Lowes Build and Grow kid’s clinics are a
great way to help build confidence. Bring the
kids to this year’s Guavaween Family FunFest and
build a FREE wooden bird feeder. Each
participant also receives a free apron, goggles,
a project themed patch and a merit certification
upon completion of their project.
*** The Hillsborough County
Public Schools Magnet Programs are hosting
activities and entertainment at this year’s
Guavaween Family FunFest. The 14-table Magnet
booth will be hosted by staff and students from
magnet elementary, middle, and high schools and
will feature a free Mask Making Workshop and
student entertainment. In addition to mask
making, kids can to participate in hands-on
activities and games. Be sure to stop by for
tons of fun and safe trick-or-treating. For more
